Here are 5 very good reasons why you need to start reusing your coffee grounds. No we won’t tell you use them to make another drink! Coffee grounds can be used for little fixes which we’re pretty sure you’ll love.

1. Use it to remove any odour in your fridge

Does your fridge have strong food odours you’d like to eliminate? Throw in some used coffee grounds into a small container, pop it in the fridge and leave it there for a week. The grounds will absorb the odours in your fridge leaving your fridge  smelling fresh again.  

2. Goodbye artificial fertilizers. Hello coffee grounds

If you’re going to toss away your used coffee grounds, you might as well toss it in your garden. It’s a really great as it adds nitrogen, improves aeration and water retention of soil.

3. Ex-coffee-liate for softer skin

Need to get rid of your dead skin cells? Here’s an inexpensive body scrub recipe! Add used grounds to a bit of warm water or some virgin coconut oil. Scrub it all over your body and wash away for soft and clean skin.

4. Get Cleaner Glossier Hair!

You can also use coffee grounds as a hair mask. Grab a handful of used coffee grounds and massage them onto your hair. Find something interesting to do for the next 20 minutes and then rinse.The end result- glossy and healthy hair .

5. Homemade Candles


If you love the smell of coffee and scented candles you’ll love this idea. Grab a small glass and fill it up halfway with used coffee grounds. Then place a tealight candle in it and place some more coffee grounds around it. Light it up and you’ll have your very own coffee scented candle ready in a few minutes!
